We're excited to announce that we now have a fire-table on our property!
This is a unique new attraction that Murray and I would love to share with you when you come to stay with us.
In the past we often sat around the fire-pit of friends of ours and had a wonderful time making new memories in the summer. It was only after a stay at Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Collingwood, that we became fans of winter fire-pits as well.
Since we spend most of our time at Mornington Rose we thought that this would be a great addition to our property any time of year, both for us and for you, our special guests, to enjoy! Since we didn't want to burn down the veranda with a fire-pit, we decided to go with a fire-table instead.
Our fire-table creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, either on the veranda in the winter, or in the gazebo when the weather is warmer. Sitting around a fire in the afternoon or evening is so relaxing and will help you to feel right at home.
You’ll find it especially enjoyable if you travel to Stratford in the spring or autumn or in the colder winter months of the year.
As the snow gently drifts down outside the curtains on the veranda, you will be snug and cozy in your own little winter oasis. You can cuddle up together in soft, cushy blankets and relax in front of the fire.
Warm your hands around steaming mugs of hot chocolate (with or without) slathered with whipped cream. Nibble on a plate of Murray’s signature chocolate chip cookies or s’mores while you’re snuggling up enjoying the blaze.
Couples on a romantic getaway, tell us that it is a quiet special place to snuggle up with their special someone in front of the fire-table to spend some quality alone-time together to rekindle their romance.
One of the great things about staying at a Bed and Breakfast is meeting new people and making new friends.
Our guests tell us that our fire-table is the perfect spot for you to gather around with friends and fellow travelers to socialize and enjoy the ambiance of the fire. They say that it creates a lovely sense of relaxation and camaraderie, so is a great way to get to know other guests better, apart from at the breakfast table. As well, it’s a great place to make new friends if you are travelling alone.
So, whether you are travelling in a group, as a couple, or as a solo traveler, our new outdoor fire-table is a great way to create a memorable and unique experience for you.
