Mornington Rose has old-home charm with modern conveniences.
Central air in all but the Lily Room which has its own system.
The home is totally a smoke-free environment.

Mornington Rose is best suited for adults but well-behaved children are welcome.
There is no discount rate for children. We have a cat in residence and do not accept pets.

Breakfasts are “Breakfeasts” at Mornington Rose. Be ready to enjoy the harvests of our kitchen. But if you want a quick tea and a muffin that's fine too. A silver service breakfast is served at 8:30, in the dining room.

Serve yourself coffee and or juice, and help yourself to the huge platter of freshly cut fruit. Then we'll serve you the daily entrée, a cook's choice of quiche, raspberry pancakes (a guest favorite) eggs benedict or lorraine, stratta, french toast, etc.

If you have preferences or allergies please let us know in advance. We are happy to serve vegetarian or lactose or gluten free diets on request. Some of these are wonderfully surprising as we are experienced with dietary differences.

Enjoy our open living room for conversation or reading. And if you have more hours after the theatre, check our great activities book for area interests and functions. We are always ready to help with where to dine or what's going on in and around Stratford.

Policies

Deposits: We require a deposit of one night’s accommodation to reserve your room payable by mailed cheque or VISA at time of booking.

Cancellation: No charge if cancelled more than one week before reservation date.

Check-in: 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. unless previously arranged
Check-out: 10:30 a.m.

Other Amenities

Parking: There’s lots of parking available. Park-and-walk to Stratford’s theatres, downtown, fine restaurants. Amble through the peaceful parks and enjoy the beautiful gardens. Watch the swans, cruise Lake Victoria or meander its quiet banks.

Where Are We?

Mornington Rose is easily accessible to all major routes into the city as it is Highway 119 North. To get here, turn north at the main downtown intersection
(Ontario St. and Waterloo, by Tim Horton’s.)  Waterloo becomes Mornington. We are at 240 Mornington Street.
