If you cancel your reservation more than 30 days in advance you will forfeit the non-refundable desposit.
If you cancel your reservation less than 30 days in advance you will be responsible for the full cost of your stay.
Room reservations made within 30 days of your arrival date will be paid in full and considered firm and non-refundable.
We strongly suggest that guests look into travel insurance. If you need to cancel your reservation, your coverage may help defray any costs for which you will be held responsible.
When your credit card number is given, it will indicate that you have read and agreed to our policies and your room will be held in good faith.
Adults Only
Mornington Rose Guest House accepts guests 18 years of age and older.
Damages
The guest will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of any breakages, missing items, or damage to property and furnishings, particularly the staining of linens, towels or carpet. This said cost will be charged to the credit card number used to reserve the room.
Lost & Found
Reasonable effort will be made to contact guests if any belongings are left on the premises. Items will be shipped back at owner’s expense. If we are unable to reach the guest, items will be placed in our Lost & Found and donated to charity after 60 days.
No Smoking
Smoking, vaping, or the burning of candles or incense is not permitted in any part of our property.
If it is found that a person has been smoking in the house, extra charges will be incurred based on the fee for professional smoke cleaning services, plus a fee for loss of business for that room while this occurs.
Lost Keys
If forgotten keys are not returned within a reasonable length of time a $75 charge will be levied to replace the locks.
Allergies
Mornington Rose Guest House does not assume responsibility for special circumstances due to allergic reactions. Food may have been prepared in our kitchen to which some people may be allergic, such as nuts. Although our property is thoroughly cleaned regularly, Mornington Rose Inc. will not be held responsible for any health problems.
Liability Policy
The Mornington Rose Guest House will not be held liable for any injury of guests, or any loss, theft, or damage to any personal property of guests. Parking in our lot is at your own risk.
Pets
Our cats, Kit and Gus, reside in our personal section of the house. Although they are not allowed in guest rooms, they do not allow other pets anywhere on the premises.
