The Ebony Room is a bright cheery room at the front of the house.  Original contemporary art by Fanch Ledan and Anatole Krasnyanski enhance the decor, truly an eclectic and interesting combination. The sitting area in the box bay window is a wonderful place for you to share coffee and conversation with your special someone.  
Perhaps you would rather spend some time outside, on your private Juliet balcony, with a bistro set for two, and wrought iron window boxes bursting with geraniums.  This is the perfect place for an intimate meal or a relaxing nghtcap while you enjoy the cool evening breeze.
After dinner, return to luxuriate in your comfy memory-foam topped queen-size bed and slumber until you are awakend by the tantalizing aromas of breakfast being prepared for you.
Your private ensuite bathrom is only steps away with Avon toiletries, comfortable robes and fluffy towels for your comfort.

The Mornington Rose Guest House no longer serves a daily hot breakfast in the morning. But not to worry, if you stay in the Ebony Rose Room we have three options for you to start your day!

Option One:
Your room is reserved on an Accommodations Only basis. You may want to meet friends staying elsewhere for breakfast. Maybe you want to leave early for your trip back home, or perhaps you just want to sleep in until close to check-out time! By selecting the Room Only rate you have the flexibility to choose where and when you want to have breakfast, and move on to enjoy the day you have planned. You can still grab a steaming cup of tea or coffee and a snack before you leave, of course!

Option Two:
You can add a tasty Breakfast Basket to your stay to have breakfast at your convenience, for an additional fee. It will be delivered to your room the night before, and is the perfect option if you want a light, no-fuss morning meal to kick-start the day.

Your Breakfast Basket will be brimming with home- baked pastries, bagels and creamy cheese, juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, and more, ready to enjoy at your leisure. Steaming hot coffee and tea will always be available, as usual ! Also, if there is something in your basket that you would like warmed up, microwaves are available for that purpose.

You are welcome to enjoy your breakfast in your room or on your balcony, in the dining room, outside on the veranda, or in the gazebo. You can have a private meal or mingle with other guests – it’s your choice.

Option Three:
If you wake up really hungry in the morning, we’ve partnered with Romeo’s Corner Café, to give you a heartier breakfast experience. It’s just a quick four minute drive from Mornington Rose, and it's our favourite place for breakfast in Stratford! The food is excellent, well presented, and delicious, and we know you’ll enjoy every tasty bite!

As a special treat for our guests, you'll enjoy a 10% discount when you choose to savor a full breakfast there. The menu is brimming with delicious options, from fluffy pancakes and French toast, to savory omelets and benedicts, ensuring you start your day with a satisfied palate. For those who like to sleep in, this treat can also be extended for lunch or dinner, as well !
