Mornington Rose Ivory Rose Room

The Ivory Room is the perfect place for friends, sisters, or moms and daughters to spend some quality time together.  Decorated in ivory, toffee, and soft shades of caramel, it features two comfy extra-long twin beds, a cozy sitting area, and a full en-suite bathroom with Avon toiletries, a hair dryer, and thirsty towels.

Walk outside to your private roof garden to share a glass of wine, or coffee and conversation, amid the flowering planters while you remember old memories and make new ones.

Original art works, Peter Nixon’s “Three Greek Seasons”, and “The Triumph of Venus” by Csaba Markus, grace the walls in this comfortable room.

The Mornington Rose Guest House no longer serves a daily hot breakfast as previously. But not to worry, if you stay in the Ivory Rose Room we have three options for your stay.

Option One:
Your room is reserved on an Accommodations Only basis. You may want to meet friends staying elsewhere for breakfast. Maybe you want to leave early for your trip back home, or you just want to sleep in until close to check-out time! By selecting the Room Only rate you have the flexibility to choose where and when you want to have breakfast, and move on to enjoy the day you have planned. You can still grab a steaming cup of tea or coffee and a snack before you leave, of course!

Option Two:
You can add a lavish Breakfast Basket to your stay to have breakfast at your convenience, for a small additional fee. It will be delivered to your room the night before, and is the perfect solution if you want a light, no-fuss morning meal to kick-start the day.

Your Breakfast Basket will be brimming with home- baked pastries, bagels and creamy cheese, juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, and more, ready to enjoy at your leisure. Steaming hot coffee and tea will always be available, as usual ! Also, if there is something in your basket that you would like warmed up, microwaves are available for that purpose. You are welcome to enjoy your breakfast in your room or on your balcony, in the dining room, outside on the veranda, or in the gazebo. You can have a private meal or mingle with other guests – it’s your choice.

Option Three:
We’ve partnered with our favourite breakfast restaurant, Romeo’s Corner Café, to give you a heartier breakfast experience. It’s just a four minute drive from Mornington Rose, and it's our favourite place for breakfast in Stratford! The food is excellent, well presented, and delicious, and we know you’ll enjoy every tasty bite!

As a special treat for our guests, you'll enjoy a 10% discount when you choose to savor a full breakfast there. The menu is brimming with delicious options, from fluffy pancakes and French toast, to savory omelets and benedicts, ensuring you start your day with a satisfied palate. For those who like to sleep in, this treat can also be extended for lunch or dinner, as well !
