Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and romance is burning brightly at Mornington Rose. Our romantic retreat offers a fun and relaxing time for you to reconnect, talk, and well, you know the rest!
Our Two Day Romantic Getaway is the perfect solution when you want some alone-time! Since February is the Month of Love, why not surprise and delight your special sweetheart with private time away from all of life’s hustle and bustle?
We wanted to make this offer as flexible as possible for you and your one and only. It's not just available for Valentine's Day, February 14th, but for the whole month of February, for stays beginning February 1st and completed by March 4th.
Your beautiful room will be ready for you upon arrival. An early check-in, any time after 1pm, will give you time to unwind from your journey.
You may want to take a short walk downtown to visit some of the shops, or enjoy a warm specialty beverage at Revel or Balzaks.
Perhaps you want to stay in and relax in your room or our guest lounge. Listen to your favourite music, sip a chilled glass of Chardonnay, and begin to get reacquainted.
Where would you like to dine your first evening? Choose from our recommended restaurants and let us make your reservation for you.
Next morning, enjoy mimosas and a delicious three course gourmet breakfast before continuing your day of exploration and discovery!
Later on, snuggle together by the fire-table on the veranda and enjoy our signature hot chocolate and cookies or s'mores.
As it gets closer to dinner time, if you have chosen that option, enjoy our special three-course Mornington Rose Charcuterie Dinner in our private dining room in front of the fire. Then wend your way up to your bedroom, only steps away.
The following morning, enjoy your leisurely silver service hot breakfast. Relax until your 12pm late checkout time, before your journey back home to reality.

- Two nights in a luxury queen room with an en-suite bathroom
- A three-course gourmet breakfast for two each day, with mango mimosas

Our Premium February Romantic Getaway
If you want to make your stay with us extra-special, you may want to consider choosing our Premium February Getaway Package. This package includes all the items in our Luxury Package, plus a chilled bottle of bubbly or your choice of red or white wine, and a dozen roses.

The Ultimate Romantic February Getaway Package
To really go over the top to impress your special someone, choose our Ultimate Romantic Getaway Package!
You will receive everything in our Premium February Romantic Getaway Package, plus a three-course Charcuterie Dinner for Two to enjoy in our dining room. Dinner includes a creamy mushroom or French onion soup to start, a meat and cheese charcuterie board with fruit, nuts, biscuits and warm bread, a decadent dessert, and tea or coffee. Take your time to linger and enjoy, your room is only a few steps away.
Ultimate February Getaway Package, $599 plus HST
Terms & Conditions
Deposit of $250 CAD is payable immediately to reserve your stay. The balance is due upon arrival.
At least 48 hours reservation notice is required.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, the following policies will apply:
- More than 1 week prior to your stay your deposit will be refunded, less $100.00
- Less than 1 week before your stay the full price of our offer will be charged
- Subject to room availability
Space is Limited - By booking with us you agree to the Terms and Cancellation Policies above.
We encourage you to take out travel insurance to cover any costs that may be incurred due to unexpected events or health difficulties that may cause cancellation of your stay.

FAQ for these Packages
Q. Can I stay for one night only and get this package?
A. No, each Romantic Getaway package is for a romantic two night stay.
Q. I have food allergies. Can I still have the Charcuterie Board Dinner and meals at Mornington Rose without concern?
A. Yes, we will contact you to find out if you have any food allergies or preferences. We will prepare your meals so you will have no ill effects or difficulties.
Q. Can I have the charcuterie dinner on either night or just the second night we are staying?
A. You can have the charcuterie either night as long as you give us adequate time to prepare it for you.
Q. Is the fire-table in a covered area or out in the open?
A. Our fire-table is on a covered veranda in the winter. There are sheer curtains around the veranda as well, which makes it nice and cozy. In the summer it is placed in the gazebo in the garden.
Q. Can I come for one of these packages any other time?
A. These packages are only available from February 1 to March 4. Don't worry, though, we will be having other packages through the year, so stay in touch!
