Since February is the Month of Love, why not surprise and delight your special sweetheart with a private time away from all of life’s hustle and bustle?
Valentine's Day is right around the corner. Romance is burning brightly at the Mornington Rose in beautiful Stratford, just a short drive away from home. Our romantic retreat is a fun and relaxing time for you to reconnect, talk, and well, you know the rest!
We wanted to make this offer as flexible as possible for you and your one and only. It's not just available for Valentine's Day, February 14th, but for the whole month of February, for stays beginning February 1st and completed by March 5th.
Your beautiful queen room for two will be ready for you upon arrival. Your early check-in, any time after 1pm, will give you time to unwind from your journey to Stratford so you can begin to get reacquainted.
Depending on your arrival time, you can take a short walk to downtown to visit some of the shops, and perhaps enjoy a warming specialty beverage at Revel or Balzaks.
If you choose to stay in, you can simply relax in your room or in our guest lounge. Take out the book you’ve been meaning to read, listen to your favourite music, sip a chilled glass of Chardonnay or just spend some quality time together.
Where would you like to dine your first evening? Choose from our recommended restaurants and let us make your reservation for you.
The next morning, enjoy a delicious three course gourmet breakfast with cranberry orange mimosas before continuing your day of exploration and discovery!
Later on, snuggle together and enjoy our signature hot chocolate and cookies or s'mores by the fire-table on the veranda.
As it gets closer to dinner time , if you have chosen that option, enjoy our special three-course Mornington Rose Charcuterie Dinner in our private dining room.
The following morning, enjoy your leisurely silver service hot breakfast. Relax until your 12pm late checkout time, before your journey back home to reality. If you order them, remember to take your roses with you! We are happy to wrap them for you to take them home.

- Two nights in a luxury queen room with an en-suite bathroom
- A three-course gourmet breakfast for two each day, with mango mimosas

To really impress your special someone, you will receive everything in our Premium February Romantic Getaway Package, plus a chilled bottle of bubbly or your choice of red or white wine, a dozen roses, and a three-course Charcuterie Dinner for Two.
Ultimate February Getaway Package, $649 plus HST
Terms & Conditions
Deposit of $250 CAD is payable immediately to reserve your stay. The balance is due upon arrival.
At least 48 hours reservation notice is required.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, the following policies will apply:
- More than 1 week prior to your stay your deposit will be refunded, less $50
- Less than 1 week before your stay the full price of our offer will be charged
- Subject to room availability
Space is Limited - By booking with us you agree to the Terms and Cancellation Policies above.
We encourage you to take out travel insurance to cover any costs that may be incurred due to unexpected events or health difficulties that may cause cancellation of your stay.
